My journey into art began with a passion for collecting cobalt blue vases. The elegant forms and my experience in woodworking inspired me to explore my own creativity, leading to my unique work with turned wood and epoxy. I carefully select each piece of wood, considering its unique shape, grain, and character, to complement the vibrant color of the epoxy I use. Each piece reflects my dedication to crafting timeless works of art. As Matrix, I merge the organic with the avant-garde, turning wood and epoxy into pieces that defy convention. I ensure each completed art piece serves a dual purpose, blending practical function with artistic expression. Every creation unfolds as a voyage into the unknown, where the old meets the new. Each piece earns its name after it’s made, inspired by the colors and shapes that come to life. I let the art speak, and I listen closely.
